Bradleyville Screaming Eagle Band in Washington, D.C.
After the rock-star send off by the elementary students and teachers, the Bradleyville Screaming Eagle Band traveled to Washington, D.C. on May 27, 2010. While there we visited the Holocaust Museum, the Air and Space Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the American History Museum. We were able to see the flag that inspired the writing of our national anthem, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States. We also toured the Capitol Building, saw the White house, the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington Monument, the World War 2 Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial.
Mrs. Sprague would like to personally thank everyone who supported the fundraisers we had to raise money for this trip. It was an amazing experience for all of us.
